ACI Smartwall TM promotes innovative design by incorporating a proprietary formula and assembles of construction materials to create engineered composite wall, floor, and roof systems. The Smartwall TM composite building system is comparable to the technology of Precast systems (thin shell concrete), Structural Insulated Wall Panels System (SIP's), and Insulated concrete Forms (ICF). A composite is broadly defined as, "Two or more dissimilar materials which when combined are stronger than individual materials" (American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA)). Green concrete has rigid properties, which cause the system to have high compression strength, while steel has more flexible properties resulting in tensile strength. Furthermore, the polystyrene has a proprietary element that acts as a vapor barrier and thermal break. These characteristics economize on energy consumption for the heating as cooling of the structure. In addition, the thermal break works as a moisture barrier, mold barrier, and sound barrier reducing noise transmission between wall cavities. The union between these three materials results in a sustainable accelerated building system.

Steel:
Steel used in the ACI eco-conscious product line is composed of recycled high strength structural galvanized steel. The recycled steel is selected based on quality to ensure the structure will meet all structural requirements. All steel that is implemented into the system will have certified mill certificates of compliance.
Green Ceramic Concrete:
ACI's proprietary mixture is composed of magnesium-based minerals and sand. This high quality mixture is non-toxic and Anti-corrosive. The green concrete used in our products cut out mercury and PCB's associated with traditional concrete procurement.
The characteristics of the green concrete are of high compressive strength, high flexural strength, strong bonding strength, long durability, fire resistance, water/salt/acid resistance, etc.

Polystyrene:
ACI Patent US Technology incorporates polystyrene to achieve the highest insulation values available on the market today. The ACI Smartwall TM building system meet & exceed ASHREA energy conservation requirements. The foam property will result in a low conductivity of gases trapped in the cellular structure. This causes a reduction in hot and cold air transfer through the cavity of the wall. In addition to high insulation values the foam property also acts as a vapor barrier eliminating the possibility of moisture intrusion and mold. ACI building systems carry a true thermal break that provides for significant energy savings for full life cycle of the structure. The building systems are designed to retain R-15 to R-35 thermal insulation values. This brings about cost-effective solutions when heating and cooling the buildings. This type of innovation directly combats global emissions by significantly cutting back on green house gases emissions.
Polystyrene acts as a cost effective solution to accomplish better insulation, sound proofing, vapor barrier, and moisture barrier. ACI Composites will have a tighter building envelope and the walls will have higher insulating properties, which lead to decreased operational costs for maintaining a comfortable interior environment for the occupants.
